PROGRAMS
FOR CORPORATE GIVING AND SPONSORSHIP -
The
Council seeks funding from corporate givers to help
underwrite the critical initial year of operations. These funds will support the myriad expenses new non-profit
organizations face in getting established, as well as
in launching educational outreach programs in the new
school year.
Corporate
donors who contribute $10,000 to the Tennessee World
Affairs Council will be designated a “Founding
Corporate Patron” and benefit from the
“Patron” status described below as well as being
named as a major sponsor of the Tennessee Championship
Academic WorldQuest team which will travel to
Washington in April 2009 to compete for the national
title; a named sponsor of a high school student to the
World Affairs Councils of America National Conference
in Washington in February 2009; as well as enjoy
placement of acknowledgements on the Council home page
and in the Council newsletters.
